Merħba ghal din il-pagna, jew pagni, fuq l-Internet iddedikati
esklussivament ghall-Kunsill Lokali ta’ Ħaż-Żebbuġ u ghax-xoghol
kontinwu u kostanti li jsir sabiex Citta Rohan – Beltna – tkompli tkun
fuq quddiem nett fl-izvilupp socjali, turistiku, politiku, ekonomiku u
kulturali ta’ gensna.
Dawn il-pagni ghandhom iservu ghal diversi ragunijiet.
Primarjament ghandhom ikunu mezz iehor ta’ komunikazzjoni bejn il-
Kunsill Lokali u r-residenti ta’ Ħaż-Żebbuġ. Matul dawn l-ahhar xhur,
il-Kunsill investa ferm f’komunikazzjoni aktar inter-attiva bejn il-kunsill
u r-residenti. Permezz ta’ Magazine ta’ informazzjoni li johrog kull
xahrejn. Permezz ta’ ittri u komunikazzjonijiet li jinharrgu mill-kunsill u
li jitqassmu dar dar. Permezz ta’ l-attivitajiet stess tal-Kunsill. Permezz
tal-laqghat kontinwi mal-ghaqdiet habrieka Zebbugin. Permezz tal-
pagna attiva ferm tal-Kunsill fuq il-Facebook. Permezz tat-telefonati kontinwi li s-segretarji tal-Kunsill
jaghmlu ta’ spiss lil kull dar u familja Zebbugija. U permezz tal-appuntamenti kontinwi li jkollna kull
gimgha mar-residenti sabiex naraw fejn nistghu naghtu d-daqqa t’id taghna sabiex nghinu.
Dawn il-pagni ghandhom iservu ukoll sabiex nies minn barra Beltna, kemm f’Malta u kif ukoll barra minn
Malta, ikollhom hjiel tal-wirt kbir Zebbugi li ahna tant kburin bih u li ilu jkun fuq quddiem nett ta’ grajjet
pajjizna ghal seklu shah.
Komunikazzjoni u interazzjoni jfissru li l-kuntatt irid ikun bejn iz-zewg nahat. L-appell tieghi huwa li tuzaw
dawn il-pagna sabiex taghmlu kuntatt maghna intom ukoll. Fl-ahhar mill-ahhar, il-Kunsill u jien gejna eletti
mill-poplu Zebbugi ghas-servizz ta’ din il-lokalita hekk prestiggjuza. Ninsab perswaz li dawn il-pagni

A Welcome Message
From the Mayor of Haz-Zebbug – Citta Rohan

On behalf of the Zebbug Local Council, I bid you welcome to these web pages which are exclusively
dedicated to promoting and projecting the Zebbug Local Council and the constant and positive work being
undertaken in Citta Rohan – our city – in order to ensure its pivotal place in the forefront of our nation’s
social, touristic, political, economical and cultural growth and development.
These web pages have a number of very important tasks to secure.
Primarily, these pages need to be yet another marketing and communication tool linking the Zebbug Local
Council and the residents of Haz-Zebbug. In these last months, the Council has invested extensively in this
sector in order to ensure interactivity and synergy between the Zebbug Local Council and the residents. A
number of examples come to mind: The bi-monthly informative magazine issued by the Council, letters and
notes which are regularly sent to the residents by the Council highlighting specific tasks and issues, the
Council’s various activities and events, constant meetings with the energetic Zebbug organizations and
societies, the Council’s use of social networking pages such as Facebook, the regular telephone exercises
executed by the Council secretaries reaching all the Zebbug households and residents, the continuous and
weekly appointments with residents on a one-to-one basis in order to assist in their difficulties.
These pages should he serve the task of educating and informing people from outside Haz-Zebbug, both
locally and abroad, on the extensive heritage that our city boasts of and which we are so proud of; a heritage
touching on all aspects of Maltese society and which has been evident for centuries and, indeed, millennia.
Communication and interaction is a two way street. I appeal to all to use these pages also to establish
contact with us. At the end of the day, all council members and myself as Mayor of this beautiful city have
been elected solely to serve the needs of the residents of this prestigious city. I am certain that these pages
will assist us in this work.
